My Neighbor Spray-Painted “SELFISH JERK” on My Lawn — So I Gave Him a Wet Surprise He’ll Never Forget For ten years, my neighborhood had been the picture of peace — until Gideon moved in next door. Elton enjoyed years of peace in his friendly neighborhood until Gideon moved in next door. At first, they got along well, but things soured when Elton refused Gideon’s request to use his driveway.

Ignoring the refusal, Gideon began blocking Elton’s cars with his own and even brought friends’ vehicles and equipment. Matters escalated when Elton’s lawn was vandalized with spray paint.
